Bio Poem

-Ivo
He's a male, dedicated and jewish.
Born in Zagreb, Yugoslavia.
Lover of the studies, public
school and different languages.
Who feels like a foreigner, stranger and safe.
Who gives love, safeness and religion.
Who fears Nazis, the war and strangers.
Who experienced the Holocaust, shelter
and kind German Allies.
Who after the Holocaust went to southern Italy.
Then emigrated to the U.S.

"Mother to Son"

1. What is the poem about?
- She's saying her life wasn't easy, that she's been through alot.

2. What is the theme?
- The theme is the lady's life.

3. What does the mother want the son to do?
- She doesn't want him to turn back or just be there.
Not to quit on things and to try his best.

4. What is the metaphor of this poem?
- Life is being compared to a crystal stair case.
And what she says is like the things she's been through. Only that
since its a metaphor its worded differently to something
that it literally isn't.

"Metaphor"

1. I don't know what i would compare it to.
I think a new sheet of paper is fine.

2. I think its good both ways, its more "poetic" in the way
that the author wrote it though.



-EXTENDED METAPHOR-
A photographer is a flight attendant.
Every time it's something new.
A new picture is a new city, state or country.
A different pose is a different person.
Different elements of art are different conflicts.
Its never the same thing.
Different places at different times.



I don't know what else to write.............

How i feel about poetry...

I dont find poetry to be intresting.
I can't write poetry and its just not my thing.
I'll read poetry but it'll just be whatever.
It is a good way to express yourself but why not
just talk to someone ?
